Alma Pudding
Ingredients
- 1/2 lb Fresh butter
- 1/2 lb Powdered sugar
- 1/2 lb Flour
- 1/4 lb Currants
- 4 Eggs
Method
Beat the butter to a thick cream. Stir in the sugar and mix both these well together. Add the flour gradually. Add currents and moisten with the eggs which should be well beaten. Butter a mould that will hold the mixture. Tie it down with a cloth. Put the pudding into boiling water, let it boil for 5 hours. When Turned out strew with some powdered sugar.
