Ground Rice Cake

Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb Ground rice
  • 1/4 lb Moist sugar
  • 1/4 lb Butter
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • A few currants
  • 1 Egg

Method

MIx the rice, sugar and currants together in a dry state. Then melt the butter before the fire and add a tsp of warm milk and the egg which should be well beaten. Put into little tins and bake in a moderate oven.
