German pudding

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lb Treacle
  • 1/2 lb Flour
  • 1/2 lb Suet
  • 1tsp soda
  • 1/4 pt New Milk
  • 1/2 oz candied peel

Method

Mix the milk and treacle first, put the soda with the suet, flour and peel. Rub all these together and pour the treacle and milk in and boil it in a basin.
