Bird's Rarebit

Ingredients

  • 1 pt Double thick Bird Custard made without sugar
  • 4 ozs Grated Cheese
  • 2 tsp Grated onions
  • 1 tsp Made mustard
  • Salt, Pepper, Tomato slices

Method

When custard is thick remove from heat. Stir in cheese, salt, pepper, mustard and onion. line dish with slices of tomatoes and pour in the cheese custard. Top it with more tomato slices and grated cheese. Brown under grill and serve hot.
