Aviss cake

Ingredients

  • 3 ozs Almonds
  • 3 ozs Butter
  • 2 ozs Lump sugar

Method

Mix with a little of rosewater until it becomes a thick paste. spread it in a buttered tin. Divide it into cakes and bake in a sow oven. When cold put a spoonful of preserve on each and cover with whipped cream. Put in a deep sandwich tin.
